Newbridge Corribee Mk 2
The Corribee is a popular boat, ideal for single handed sailing and this bilge keel version, with her purpose made braked trailer, built 2009, is easy to get to where you want to be.
The hull was repainted 2014. She was antifouled April 2017.
The engine, a Yamaha 4hp 4 stroke, long shaft, was new in 2010 and has had 130 hours use. It has been serviced annually. A new stainless steel engine stern mounting was fitted 2016. The engine has control arm and gearbox extension, an integral tank and an ancillary tank in the stern locker.
She has a skeg supported rudder.
The laminated hardwood mast beam was replaced 2014.
She is Bermudan sloop rig. The main is slab reefed with lazy jacks and boom cover. Mainsail and topping lift halyards lead aft to the cockpit. The sails and standing rigging are in good condition. The back stay bottle screws were replaced in 2016 and the forestay renewed 2017.
The boat is rigged for a furling genoa. Currently this requires attention. The swivel is worn and jams under tension.
