This ex naval pinnace is an opportunity to convert an abandoned hull into a high value live aboard or recreational craft.
This 36ft ex-Naval Pinnace and a historic restoration project, has a beam of 13ft and a draught of 3ft. Her official number is 5478. We believe she was built in the early 1900s and have guessed 1920.
The hull is of double diagonal construction and has been sheathed in fibre-glass, we suspect for ease of maintenance as the hull timbers appear to be sound. The hull sheathing work is of a good standard and it is a heavy lay-up.
The cabin/superstructure is a relatively recent addition and this work is of a low standard with some very poor quality sheathing. We would suggest that anyone considering this project should expect to completely remove and replace the superstructure.
There is an engine, gearbox and stern gear. We believe the engine is a Perkins 4108, but we have no knowledge as to its condition.
This motor yacht is situated at Douglas Marine Ltd near Preston, should you purchase this yacht you are welcome to store the vessel with them in accordance with their schedule of charges.
