Miller Fifer 36
Fifer Lass is a rare twin screw version of the classic Miller Fifer class of traditional motor sailers built by James W Miller and sons at their yard in St Monans in Fife Scotland in 1968. For a buyer ready to take on the maintenance of a classic wooden boat, this is a price that will appeal.
Fifer Lass is constructed of larch on oak frames with a teak deck and mahogany superstructure. She has a long keel with a steel semi balanced keel hung rudder and Miller chain wheel steering system.
She is ketch rigged and has twin Perkins 72hp Diesel engines located in a spacious engine room, they deliver a cruising speed of 6.5 knots with 8.5 knots at full power.
She has been cruised extensively on Scotlandís West coast and in the Irish sea.
Miller Fifers are renowned for their rugged sea keeping qualities and for the superb craftsmanship built into their hulls.
The helm position located to port in the wheelhouse has excellent visibility with a range of instruments at hand . There is a full size chart table located on the starboard side of the wheel house with more instruments including Sestrel compass, B&G echo sounder, B&G Log/Speed, Wind speed direction,2x VHF (1xDSC), Pinta autopilot, Raymarine 120 (Radar,GPS, Echo sounder)

The accommodation comprises a total of seven berths, with two permanent berths in the spacious fore cabin plus two fold down berths above.
There is a single berth cabin located on the port side and two settee berths in the saloon.
There is a separate heads compartment equipped with a Baby Blake sea toilet and a wash basin.
The saloon has a full size table with windows on all sides.
The accommodation is fitted with a Webasto heating system
The well equipped galley has a twin burner cooker with grill and oven, pressurised hot and cold water, a microwave and a fridge.
