This bilge keel version of the Westerly Fulmar was built in 1982, designed by Ed Dubois, and is considered by many to be one of his best designs.
Fulmars are frequently the boat of choice for sailing schools due to their robust construction and efficient sailing performance.
Flying Free has been cruised widely in the Irish sea and the West coast of Scotland in her present ownership.
She benefits from a number of updates and improvements including a replacement of the original engine with a Beta 24 hp with only 260 hrs use. The present owner has also added new instrumentation including an ICOM DSC vhf and Navman chart plotter.
This ideal family cruiser combines good sea keeping qualities with good performance and comfort.
