Keyhaven Yawl - £11,000
This Keyhaven Yawl was built by Mr R W Shinton in 1991 from marine ply on pine stringers to a design by Laurent Giles. Now in need of some maintenance, she is offered at a reduced price. Some interior woodwork is in need of painting/varnishing. In the cockpit area the boat yard have identified an area of wood that needs replacing.
Rigged as a gaff cutter with bow sprit, bumpkin and tan sails she is both elegant and handsome. The lifting centre plate and beaching legs allow her to take the ground comfortably.
She has laid decks and a large cockpit with state of the art instrumentation.
A full set of Raymarine instrumentation has recently been professionally fitted and includes a multi-functional display, together with chart plotter, log, depth, wind/speed/direction, radar and AIS. The VHF is Icom with dsc.
Aside from the instrumentation, she is reassuringly traditional. From the tan sails to the laid decks, she is what one would expect of a classic yacht.
The engine is a Yanmar 3GM30F 24hp inboard diesel which has been little used.
